When I worked in a restaurant, there came an evening when one of the junior cooks was wandering around showing the waitstaff a picture on his phone. He goes to show it to me - the other waitstaff try to stop him. I shrug, hold out my hand for his phone.

My colleagues all stare at me, waiting for the expected “uuuurk get it away”. While I stare at the picture and think ‘damn, they look like they’re having fun. I wonder who they are? What their relationship to one another is? Whose idea was it? Do they do this often?’
