peroxidepirate: Smarties & Basil Cookies I followed the click-through link and these are not the Smarties I’m familiar with… the ones I know are these, which lack the candy coating, so I think they’d just dissolve if baked. It sounds like non-US Smarties are a whole lot like M & Ms, yes? Regardless, basil cookies! I might have to try this. Yeah, M&Ms and smarties are quite similar. Smarties are a bit flatter, and they don’t taste quite the same.

Yeah, M&Ms and smarties are quite similar. Smarties are a bit flatter, and they don’t taste quite the same.
